E-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival)

The Indonesian Immigration Agency has also launched an online pre-arrival application. The application is to be completed via a government portal operated by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and Human Rights to obtain an e-VOA - a single-entry visa that is valid for stays of up to 30 days with the purpose of tourism, government visits, business meetings, goods purchasing, or transit only. To apply for the e-VOA and to check the countries eligible, please click here.

All Indonesia Arrival Card

Commencing 1 September 2025, all travellers entering Indonesia are required to complete the new All Indonesia Arrival Card. The digital entry card replaces existing health, customs and immigration forms. One declaration per family should be completed at least three days prior to arrival, after which a QR code will be issued. It is advised to save the QR code to mobile device or print it out ready for arrival as those arriving without one will be asked to complete the form at the airport and queue again at customs. The official form can be accessed here.

Tourism Levy

From 14 February 2024, to promote responsible tourism and protect the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Bali, the Balinese government has introduced a compulsory Tourism Levy of IDR 150,000 (approximately USD 10). It is strongly recommended to make the payment ahead of arrival in Indonesia. Travellers can settle this payment via Love Bali website. Confirmation of payment will be sent out via email and scanned upon entry in all airports and seaports.
